Hey there! I'm Charlotte Renae – a passionate singer, dancer, actress, and songwriter from the Washington, D.C. area. I started my journey in the performing arts at the age of 5, exploring singing, dancing, and acting. Growing up in an arts-driven household, I was exposed to a wide array of visual and performing arts, which has deeply shaped my creative path. With a background in both classical and contemporary voice, I’m fortunate to explore and sing across a diverse range of musical styles in a way that’s both healthy and expressive.

I graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Lyric Theatre from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Music, where I studied under the guidance of Prof. Yvonne Redman and Prof. Sarah Wigley. My time at UIUC was transformative, offering me a space to explore different performance outlets and develop my artistic voice.

As a songwriter, my journey took flight with the release of my debut single, Floating – a lo-fi bedroom pop track. I’m thrilled to announce that Floating was chosen for the GrammyU Mixtape in April 2025, marking a significant milestone in my journey as an artist.

My new song, Make a Move, was released this summer! It’s a bluesy, pop track I wrote my sophomore year of college. It’s available to listen to on all streaming platforms.

While the entertainment industry has been a big part of my journey, I’ve spent time figuring out what makes me me. I’m an Australian-American dual citizen, so international travel has always been a passion of mine. I love curating playlists for different vibes or getting lost in design inspiration (I can spend hours on Pinterest).

I’m an extroverted, easygoing person who values genuine connections. My friends are everything to me, and I’m always ready to host a night in or be there when they need a little extra support.
